Thanks so much to everyone who supported our team of runners who took part in the Very Special Kids 24-hour Treadmill Challenge over the weekend.
All of those who generously donated helped us raise a total of $14,235, far surpassing our goal of $8,000. When we said every dollar makes a difference, we really meant it!
The BFIRM Partners In Motion team, which we were a part of, collectively raised the amazing amount of $105,708, while the total amount raised from the event was an incredible $1,177, 270.
Well done to our brilliant runners: Tony, Joey, Chloe, Tomiah, Jacob, Jack, Stevie, Hendryx, Tom, Josh and Ben.
Big pats on the back to Stevie and Hendryx, who represented the warehouse, and Jacob, who cracked 6km in 30 minutes!
We had a surprise start to our stint at 8 o’clock on Friday night when Tony made a last-minute “captain’s call” to get the 5Ways team underway. Our team was on the treadmill from 8pm through to 1am on Saturday.
Thanks also to those who stepped up to form a great support crew: Alice, Jaime, Sarah, Rob, Sebastien, Ciro, Frank, Mina, Lachlan, Ross, Stephanie, Maria, and Vincent.
Everyone who was there contributed to a truly inspiring vibe, supporting all our runners.
Again, to all those who donated $5 or $25 or $50 or $100, you helped make the event a success and everyone in the 5Ways team appreciates that contribution and support.
